नोबेल पुरस्कार की स्थापना स्वीडेन के डायनामाइट के आविष्कारक वैज्ञानिक अल्फ्रेड नोबेल द्वारा 1901 में किया गया शुरुआत में नोबेल पुरस्कार पांच क्षेत्रों जैसे चिकित्सा ,रसायन विज्ञान , भौतिक विज्ञान ,साहित्य और शान्ति के क्षेत्र में दिया जाता था ! 1969 से अर्थशास्त्र क्षेत्र में भी यह पुरस्कार दिया जाने लगा !
